Collection: Made in Taiwan

This series was shot over three years from 2012-2015 on film with a Hasselblad Medium Format camera, in and around Taiwan's markets, back streets, and run-down areas.

The collages came in the following year. Each image was printed, cut by hand, and reassembled - a physical process of destruction and reconstruction that mirrors the subject matter itself. The scans of the film were then reassembled to match the collages.

The result is a body of work that sits between documentary and abstraction - images that feel both found and made.
