As I photographed the old negatives, I noticed that the colours visible on the physical film were more vivid than those in my original scans. I began looking at the material again, scanning the negatives as both negative and reversal film and combining the results to explore the unexpected colours, textures and forms hidden within them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis work is built around layers of deep violet, lavender, pink and warm orange, with horizontal bands and areas of intense colour emerging through the damaged surface of the film.
